- I am a self taught outsider artist, who worked for 25 years at GM. It was the last place I wanted to be, but with a family and a wife that refused to help out financialy, I had no choice. Now at the time of writing I am laid off and if GM doesn`t go bankrupt, I am elegable for a partial pension, so I am able to follow my dream of being a full time painter.
